Introduction
When you start your gangster career you'll be born in a random city, this will be known as your 'born city'.
You'll be able to start travelling towards other cities with your basic vehicle (walking).
Travelling
On the travel page you'll find several tabs to pick your next destination, reachable and unreachable cities.
Whether a city is reachable or not is based on the distance between your current city and the destination city.
Every city has certain GPS coordinations which can measure the distance between cities.
How far you can travel is based on your current vehicle.
It's recommended to check out a city before travelling there, find out which crimes are there, which stats they have, which other players are there and the prices of trades so you can make a profitable travel.
Travelling to a new destination will cost money based on the fuel costs of your vehicle and the distance, you'll also have a cooldown period after travelling before you can travel again.
Travel and trading
One of the best way to earn money in the game is by using the trade feature, and for the most part this will require you to travel from one city to another.
You can use the trade scouting feature to get information on trade prices in other cities so you can plan which trade to bring from your current city to the next.
By upgrading your vehicle you'll be able to take more trades with you, travel bigger distance and travel more often.
Vehicles
Everybody starts off with the most basic vehicle, this vehicle can't carry a lot of trades and has a long cooldown period but has the ability to cover large distances.
You can upgrade your vehicle for a certain price, this will almost always result into a better travellign experience, you'll be able to carry more trade units, travel bigger distances and have less cooldown time before your next travel.
You can also upgrade specific attributes of your vehicle for additional bonuses, certain categories such as trade units, distance, travel cooldown time and more. (These upgrades are permanent for each vehicle, and you'll also inherit these upgrades on parent accounts).
Upgrading these attributes costs materials, which you can find from crimes/gta/npc's and other features, you can also dismantle equipment to gain more materials or purchase the materials you need from the auction house.
There's also the option to downgrade your vehicle, but keep in mind that you won't receive a refund for downgrading, and both upgrading or downgrading will 'reset' your current travel cooldown timer.
Instant travel cooldown reset
Once every 24 hours you can instantly reset your travel cooldown timer.
This will allow you to keep travelling incase you travelled to the wrong city, or got teleported by a NPC/world boss, or you simply want to travel again instantly.
However, you won't be able to use this feature during an active family war or right after taking a shot at someone.
